GentleCure™ Treatment for Nonmelanoma Skin Cancer
If you have been diagnosed with skin cancer, or if you are concerned that you may need treatment, Cahaba Dermatology is here to help you understand your options. GentleCure, also known as Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy or Image-Guided SRT, is a surgery-free treatment option for nonmelanoma skin cancers, including basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers.
GentleCure is performed right in the dermatology office using advanced imaging technology that allows the treatment team to view the cancer, measure it, and monitor progress throughout treatment. During your first visit, your provider can review your pathology report, talk through your treatment goals, and help determine whether GentleCure is an appropriate option for your needs.
