Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Justin Perry cares about his patients and is willing to go the extra mile to find solutions for even the most complex cases. He will keep trying until he’s exhausted all of his options for you. He remembers details about his patients- medical and personal. He takes you seriously even if you have a panic attack or cry. His approach gives one the comfort of being on a team: not just being told what to do, nor being left with a vague jumble of words in order to hide a lack of knowledge- which unfortunately has been my experience with many other doctors. He meets you where you are in regard to explaining things more in depth or trusting you when you tell him you’ve got knowledge on the topic. He is very intelligent and kind. The office staff recently got a new system into place which allows for less wait time, happier patients, and a happier staff. I think they have hired some new nurses as well, who I’ve had great experiences with so far. All of this paves the way for a smooth, helpful visit. I really hope that this system continues to work for the staff, as my most recent visit was the first in a few months. Despite the pain it takes me to get there and to recover from yet another doctors’ appointment, I left yesterday with a twinkle of hope in my eye and a smile on my face.
