What is IPL?

The intense pulsed light treatment, or IPL, as performed at Cahaba Dermatology, can restore your face’s natural beauty by removing the effects of weather and aging, replacing them with smooth, youthful skin. Your face can regain much of its youthful beauty by having years of aging and the ravages of weather minimized, and wrinkles, blemishes, and large pores can be reduced or eliminated. IPL can be used on the hands, neck, and chest as well as the face, and produces a result that feels as if your skin had been lifted but is a completely non-invasive procedure with no recovery time and results that can last up to a year. It is a procedure that can dramatically improve your appearance without expensive surgery.

What is ResurFX?

ResurFX is an FDA-approved device that builds upon prior laser skin resurfacing technology platforms such as Fraxel to improve fine lines and wrinkles, soften scars, improve skin texture and tone, and promote collagen growth. This results in collagen production and skin tightening.
